लागी बाटो खन्न हीडेका ती दशैं।
अष्टमीमा कालरात्रि हान्नलाई कोटघरमा जम्मा भएका
ती दशैं

वुवाआमा, छोराछोरी, नातीनातीना, दाजुभाई,
दीदीवहीनी पचासौंजना हजुरबाको घरमा जम्मा भएका
ती दशैं।
सानोको पालो ढिला आउदा घण्टौं पालो कुरेर बसेका
ती दशैं।

निधार भरी रातो टीका लगायर ठुलोबुवा, कांछोबुवा,
मामाघर, सनिमाघर हीडेका ती दशैं।
दिनभरी पायको दछीणा गनेर नयां सपना सजाउन
भुर्कीमा राखेका ती दशैं।

साईला माईला माधव र कान्छा संग लिङ्गे पिङ र गुच्छा
खेलेका ती दशैं।

आकाशभर झीलीमीली पारी, रङ्गीविरङ्गीचङ्गा
उडायका ती दशैं
कहां छन होला आज ती कोदाली र फरुवाहरू,
कस्ता छन होला ती कोटघरहरू,
कस्ता छन होला ती हीडेका बाटाहरू,
कहां हराय होलान ती भुर्कीहरू, रङ्गीवीरङ्गी
चङ्गाहरू

कहां छन होला ती साईला माईला कान्छा र माधवहरू
सायद 2, मेरै बाटो कुरेर वसेका छन होला 2,
परदेशी कहीले गांऊ फर्की आउँछ भनेर,
परदेशी कहीले स्वदेश फर्कि आउँछ भनेर,
